High School (9th-12th Grade)

Sunday School

Sunday School is where we come each week to learn about Christ and how to live our lives for him. At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, we meet in the Sports & Rec Center to hang out with friends. At 9:45 a.m., we head to our classrooms to dive deeper into God’s words. Sunday school releases at 10:45 a.m.

Grade classrooms are:
• 9th – S211
• 10th – S212
• 11th – S213
• 12th – S214

Small Groups

Small Groups are where we explore our faith more deeply while having fun and fellowship. Throughout the week, grade levels have small groups that meet, hang out, relax, have snacks, talk, and grow together in faith and life. These groups are very important as it can be difficult to connect in larger group settings. It is also a place where students can bring their tough or nagging questions about faith and explore the issue with friends and adults.

242

242 is the name of our Sunday night programming for high school students. Come as you are for a time of fellowship and a special message every week. We begin the evening with snack supper ($3) at 6:00 p.m. in the Sports & Rec Center gym before heading up to the Loft for 242 at 6:45 p.m. 242 meets regularly throughout the school year. Anyone and everyone is invited!

Be sure to check the Youth Calendar for all the upcoming dates.

Trips and Retreats

Trips and Retreats are a great opportunity to learn more about your faith and to live in service of Christ…not to mention they are really FUN!

• Fall Retreat is one of the most popular youth trips of the year. It is a time where all youth (6th-12th grade) come together for a weekend trip to Sky Ranch where we worship and learn more about how awesome and powerful our God is for us.
• Girl’s/Guy’s Retreat – Two fun and faith filled weekends (one for girls, one for guys) where our high schoolers grow in Christ and bond in fellowship.
APPA is the heart of missions in the youth ministry. For one week out of the summer, high schoolers devote their time to helping an impoverished community. We share the love of Christ with people in that community by repairing homes, updating facilities for those who are disabled, and loving on everyone with which we come in contact.
