THE STAR COMPLEX, FRISCO, May 5. Many have asked about taking a tour of this new facility. This should be a fun event. Before ordering tickets for admission, we need a definite count. The cost of admission is $25.00 per person. Please let Marylin Smith know by April 25 if you would like to attend.
ANNUAL SENIOR ADULT LUNCHEON
St. Andrews UMC in Plano is holding the second Annual Luncheon and Meeting at their church on Wednesday May 10, 1017, from 11am – 1pm. Last year we hosted the Luncheon. the cost is $10 per person and includes a musical program, worship and catered luncheon. $10.00 per person. Let Marylin Smith know if you are interested. The bus has been reserved and those who wish can ride the bus. (Must make reservation for bus.)
ANNUAL VISIT TO HAM ORCHARDS, JUNE 15. This has always been a fun trip. Nothing better than fresh peach ice cream! And fresh peaches to bring home. We will leave the church at 8:30am and return no later than 3pm. We will have lunch at the orchard.
DALLAS HERITAGE VILLAGE AT OLD CITY PARK, JULY 14. This is home to the largest and finest collection of 19th Century pioneer and Victorian homes and commercial buildings in texas. They have been moved from throughout North Central Texas to Dallas’ first city park. This a tree-shaded 20-acre setting. Stroll the grounds and discover what life was like over 100 years ago for ordinary Texans. We will enjoy a box lunch on the grounds.
