Click on the class dates beginning March 5th to register your child for one or more of the 2017 Summer Camps. MasterCard and Visa are accepted for online registration. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the first day of camp to receive a refund, less a processing fee (4%).
Scroll down to read the camp descriptions. All camps are open to children with special needs. Please contact Josh Beasley for more information.
There are a few weeks where you can combine a morning and afternoon camp for your child. Your child will be able to spend the whole day here at CUMC in a fun and safe environment by signing up for our lunch camp for the hour between the camps. Bring a lunch & drink and we’ll do the rest. You will have the option in the registration to add this camp for a $10 fee.
Note: Be sure to check the age/grade limits on each camp before you register your child for a combination camp.
Most afternoon camps are for kids ages 5-12.
The following three forms must be turned in on the first day of camp. Forms only need to be filled out one time per child and will also be available on the first day of camp.

CDC’s Magical Make-believe Camp
Calling all pirates, princesses, and astronauts! Join us for a week of imagination and make-believe. Dressing up, artistic opportunities, and pretend play are just a few examples of activities for this fun week of creativity.
This is Children’s Discovery Center’s only camp for the summer of 2017 and is for 3 – 5 year olds only. All children must be completely potty trained.

Various Sports Camps (Four-day camp)
Join one of our many sports camps this summer. Focus on dodge ball, basketball camp or play them all in the “All Sports Camp”. Kids will be broken into age-appropriate teams. These camps are low pressure and provide a positive environment. Camp will take place in the SRC gym and are a partnership between the CUMC Sports & Rec Center and Triumph Sports..
Vacation Bible School-Fruit of the Spirit
Children will have fun and fellowship as they learn about God at VBS! Every morning begins with an exciting assembly, followed by a relatable Bible message, crafts, snacks, music, and games in the Sports & Rec Center. Each day concludes with a Missions Moment and time of prayer.

All Dolled Up Camp
All Dolled Up Camp is a special week just for girls and their dolls. Each day, we will have a theme for your daughter and her favorite doll such as a Spa Day and a Bakery Day. The girls will also make crafts for themselves and their special dolls. Favorite activities and crafts from last year will be returning as well as new ones.
CraniaLogix: Crime Solving Kids
Become a crime solving detective as you search for evidence, gather clues, and discover how science can help solve a mystery. From investigating the scene of a crime to dusting for fingerprints, campers will learn how detectives and forensic scientists use science to solve real-life crimes. Using what they learn throughout the week, the crime solvers will then investigate and solve a mock crime.
Come join us as we share our gifts and talents with those in need! Campers will experience a different “hands on” mission opportunity each day at the church or in our community. Camp cost includes all mission project supplies and a field trip.
Confident Kids Camp
Get the jump on a successful school year! In response to recent studies on the readiness skills needed for younger students, this camp will focus on social skills and emotional learning. Campers will learn team work and communication in a fun group atmosphere!
Pinterest Camp is a girls only camp full of creativity and imagination. Campers will spend the week building arts, crafts, and science projects found on Pinterest.
Cheer Camp (Four-day camp)
Cheer camps will run between Monday and Thursday. Each cheer leading camp provides a chance for girls to learn cheer leading in a fun, Christ-centered atmosphere. Camp activities include cheers, games, stunts, motions, jumps, dance and tumbling. Look forward to a performance on the last day of camp! Bring your own snack.
CraniaLogix: Invention Kids
This camp invites every child to use their creativity, imagination, and inventive thinking skills. Campers will delve into the design process used by inventors and will turn inspired ideas into original inventions. Their creative juices will help them imagine and design several inventions that will be shared at the end of the week at their Invention Convention.
