The Sports & Rec Center is offering two NEW classes in our Fall lineup!
A new session of Chair Yoga will be offered on Friday mornings from 11 AM-12 PM. This class is a one-hour yoga class especially for those who, due to age, health issues, injury, weight challenges or limited balance or mobility, find it difficult to get down on the floor. Now a chair becomes your mat. Just about any pose that can be done standing, sitting, or lying on a mat can be adapted to sitting on a chair. Everyone, beginner to advanced, is accommodated, as each pose will be presented in multiple levels of flexibility. The class will include breathing, stretching, strengthening, relaxation and a lot of fun – all while sitting on a chair.
Beginner Tap Plus will be offered on Tuesday afternoons from 2-2:45 PM. This class is designed for anyone who has taken tap classes for a while and is already familiar with tap basics. Join us for some fun and a good work out.
