Princeton Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in serving one of the following areas?

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry Sunday School Teacher– Sunday school teachers will have the opportunity to let children know that God and members of the church love them. The Director of Children’s Ministry will ensure that Sunday school teachers have an easy to teach curriculum.

Children’s Check-In– Help families register their children in the children’s ministry area. From welcoming first time guests to connecting with returning families, members of this team will ensure that families feel comfortable dropping off their children.

Nursery– We need people that are skilled at taking care of numerous babies. These people will assist the professional nursery workers. Click here to volunteer.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry- Members of the 3:16 Youth will have a heart for 6th-12th graders. They will work with the youth director to help teenagers connect with Christ and our church. Click here to volunteer.

Hospitality

Hospitality– Members of this team will make sure that everyone in the church feels welcome. These people have a knack for connecting guests to members of the church. These people always have a smile on their face. This team will staff the coffee and donut station but certainly give much more than just food and drinks.

Greeters– Members of this team are great at first impressions. By smiling, shaking hands, and providing warm greetings, they ensure that everyone feels welcomed.

Parking Lot– These people will wave, smile, and direct people to parking spots. Members of this team will help create a radically welcoming experience.

Guest Services– Help make guests feel like they have found their church home. These team members will be able to connect guests with someone in the congregation. These will be outgoing people who like making others feel welcomed. Click here to volunteer.

Worship

Worship Leaders– Musicians on this team will have a heart for leading others in worship. They will be passionate about creating a worship environment where people can connect with God.

A/V– People on this team will love and understand technology and sound. Some of these people will have an ear for ensuring that all of the sound levels are optimized. Other people on the team will ensure that the video sermon and worship slides run smoothly. This team helps people have a meaningful worship experience by ensuring that the video and sound work correctly. Click here to volunteer.

Connection Groups

Connection Groups (small groups)- Connection groups are a place for us to connect with God and with a community of people. These groups will be composed of about 12 people and will meet on a weekly basis in homes or throughout the town for Bible study and fellowship.

Connection Group Facilitator- This person will facilitate a connection group. This means coordinating meeting times, but more importantly, caring for the people in the group by following up on prayer requests and ensuring that everyone in the group feels included. The majority of connection group study materials will be video based. This person will facilitate the discussion with the help of a leader’s guide. Click here to volunteer.

Care Ministries

Nursing Home Ministry- These are people with a heart for connecting to the elderly in Princeton. Help us host a birthday party once a month. People on this team will also visit the residents once or twice a month during a time that is convenient to them. Click here to volunteer.
