CHRIST PLANO PRAYERS: AUGUST 19, 2026
Christ Plano continues to lift up prayers for the following:
- Healing for our country as it continues to experience division and violence
- Those areas of the world that continue to face devastating war/conflicts
- Guidance/protection for those affected by recent natural disasters (fires, earthquakes, floods)
- Protection/justice for members of our communities who face oppression/discrimination
- Individuals who are struggling with illness or are in rehab/hospital
- Loved ones/friends who are on hospice care/end-of-life
- Those serving as caregivers for loved ones
- Those who are dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or depression
- Those grieving a loss of a loved one, either through death or a broken relationship:
- The family of Donna Brooks, whose chapel memorial at Christ Plano is Friday, August 21, at 11:00am.
- The family of Mildred Hooten, whose sanctuary memorial at Christ Plano is Saturday, August 22, at 11:00am.
