Men’s and Women’s Ministry

CUMC Women

CUMC Women is a welcoming sisterhood praising God to reach, teach and serve. All are welcome to join us at any time. From small groups to special events to service projects, there are many opportunities for women of all ages to serve together, enjoy fellowship and share faith. We hope you find an activity and conversation to join!

Mom-To-Mom

On-going conversations started by members on any and all topics. Join the circles that interest you and if you don’t see what you’re looking for, we’ll start one! Mom-To-Mom circles meet every other week on Monday or Tuesday mornings. At each meeting, there is a time of prayer, devotion, sharing of joys and concerns, and of course, fellowship.

Childcare is available for each meeting at the church. Your child will be cared for tenderly and most importantly, will be just down the hall from your meeting. Partial and full scholarships are available for those in need.

Eve Circle meets on Mondays at 9:30 AM N154. Register for Eve Circle.

Sarah Circle meets on Tuesday at 9:30 AM N154. Register for Sarah Circle.

If you are interested in a Wednesday Night Circle, please contact Jen Padgett for information.

WSG – Women Serving God

A volunteer organization designed to help CUMC women make a difference in the community.

Contact Cathy Sweeney if you would like to get involved or for more information on any of these groups. We would love to have you join us!

Men’s Ministry

Christ United provides many opportunities for men of all ages to fulfill God’s call. We walk together and help each other know Christ in a deeper way. We are passionate about developing leaders within the church, the home and at work.

Friday Morning Breakfast

Every Friday morning in the Sports and Rec Center (south building), from 6:30 to 7:30 AM, men gather for a bacon and egg breakfast, prayer, fellowship, a devotional and discussion. We are an informal bunch and regular attendance is not required.

Tuesday Night Men’s Bible Study

Christ United’s Tuesday Night Men’s Bible Study is a great opportunity for ongoing, Bible-based teaching. Whether you’re a Bible scholar or you’ve never even opened a Bible, you are invited to join us! We meet from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in room N253 of the north building.

We are also heavily involved in Christ United’s missions ministry. To find out more visit our church’s Local and National missions pages.

Social Events and Fundraisers

From sporting events to cookouts to golf tournaments, our Men’s Ministry hosts regular social events for the men of Christ United to connect with one another and develop lasting friendships.

For any questions about regular Men’s Ministry programming, or for the latest information on events contact Associate Rev. Chad McSwain or visit the Men’s Ministry Facebook Group.
