WOMAN TO WOMAN PANEL

Come with your questions and we’ll have our panel share their thoughts, ideas and experiences. Ask them anything! Is it normal that my child doesn’t have friends at school? How can I be a good friend to someone going through cancer? How do I talk to my children about other religions? How do I start dating again after a divorce?  Submit your questions ahead of time here!

Meet the Panel:

Clelia Peña is a teacher, a learner and a mother of two boys. She is passionate about faith, familia, learning, teaching, música, travel, Spanglish, and friends from aqui y allá. Clelia is originally from Monterrey, México and has been in Texas since she was 15 years old. Now, an American Citizen, she considers herself a true “Tex-Mex.” She is currently at a crossroads in her personal life, seeking to understand where God is leading and how abundant life shows up in daily mundane tasks.

Casey Erdmann is a wife, mom, and lifelong learner, always seeking new adventures. Despite a background in teaching, coaching, and administration, her greatest accomplishments include crushing Disney solos in the shower, obsessively organizing her home, and recruiting new families to her street at Open Houses. On Monday nights, you’ll find her in the outfield in her first season in slow-pitch softball- it’s never too late to start something new!

When Nell Pearce  was an Elementary Principal she focused on uniting parents and teachers in understanding and facilitating educational and mental health growth for every child.  As a Counselor she helped teachers understand the strengths and needs of their students and provided them with skills in communication with their partners in caring, the parents. She also facilitates Parenting classes for parents at school and at Christ United.  Together they grew in understanding the needs of our children and with communicating with  our intellect rather than in our emotion.

Rev. Paige Christian brings too many years of corporate marketing and business development experience to the table. In the midst of that quintricennial, she became a wife, mom of three kids and a daughter-in-law (+ a dog), pastor and executive coach. Most importantly, she hoards books (organized by author) and fabric (organized by color) in her spare time, with the dream of one day having unlimited time to read and sew.

Rev. Raegan Gilliland our Pastor of Adult Discipleship loves a great cup of coffee, Parks and Recreation, making people laugh, and having people over in her home for a meal that Scott prepares. More than anything, Raegan loves being with her family and raising two incredible kids, Andie Jane and Jude with Scott.
