Senior Adults 60+ – July 3

Our Seniors recently visited Ham Orchards in Tarrall, TX., where tThey enjoyed peach ice cream, browsing (and buying) in the marketplace and great BBQ.  Sitting under the covered area at tables or rocking in the rocking chairs made the trip even better.  Many new friendships were established that day.  Come join us on one or more of our upcoming events.  Our great drivers will get you there and back safely and you can enjoy your day.

July 14 (SATURDAY) Richardson Theatre Centre, “Harvey” (Comedy). Harvey is the story of a perfect gentleman, Elwood P. Dowd and his best friend Harvey — who is a six foot tall invisible rabbit.  $15 per person – all seats are great!  We will leave the church at 11 am and have lunch on the way (Not included in $15).  Limited number of tickets.  There will be a small transportation charge.

TUESDAY AUGUST 14, Luncheon, 12 Noon in Trinity Hall.  We will be celebrating USA and have special entertainment.  Door prizes.  Bring a friend or two if you like and a covered dish.
Register by August 10.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 18, Civil War Museum in Fort Worth.  This is a repeat trip and you will enjoy it whether you have been before or not.  You can see a private collection of over 3,000 Northern and Southern artifacts, The Judy Richey Victorian Dress collection (over 300 dresses and hundreds of accessories are rotated during the year), and more!  Admission $5 and lunch after (not included).  Register and pay by September 10.  

TUESDAY OCTOBER 9, Dallas Farmers Market. We will leave the church at 8:30 pm and return no later than 3:00 pm. You don’t want to miss this trip.  So much to see (and buy).  We will also have lunch nearby.  More information to follow.


FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9, The Newly Improved Dallas Zoo

TUESDAY DECEMBER 4, Christmas Party in Trinity Hall.

IN THE WORKS:  Lunch and Learn.  Various speakers will visit.  Bring your own lunch.
