Are you excited about your faith but do not know where to start? Do you have questions about our church, its programs, worship services, or missions? Are you wondering how to get involved with a bible study, a Sunday morning fellowship, or a small group? Maybe you were raised in a different faith than Methodism and you want to ask questions about the concept of Wesleyan theology. Is it really that different from other denominations and theologies? What do United Methodists believe, anyway?
We invite you to Starting Point to answer these questions. Starting Point is a short informational session about Methodism, Christ United and our mission to love God, serve others, and transform lives. The sessions will be held in room N154, from 11 AM – 12:15 PM on the second Sunday of each month.
This is a perfect time for new members, guests, and others to learn about our church, what we are passionate about, and how you can get involved. It’s a great time to ask those “I don’t understand……” questions. It’s also a wonderful time to meet new people.
Anyone – guest or member, new or seasoned, married or single, with or without children – is welcome to join us to take the first step on your journey at Christ United! For more information about Starting Point, contact Cathy Sweeney. For more information on how to get involved, visit our Adult Ministry page.
