All bags with meal items are due back this Friday, Nov 17 by 12 PM so that we can get them to families!
There is still time to help during the meal distribution and donate! Our Serving Others ministry will continue to take monetary donations for our Thanksgiving Drive until November 22. The meals provided will include a turkey and an assortment of fruits and vegetables.
You can help by GREETING our neighbors who receive our meals here at Christ United on Nov 18, or by DONATING the cost of a meal(s) with $25 feeding a family of 6.
DISTRIBUTION and GREETING Opportunities: We have two sites for you/your family to volunteer. (1) – God’s Food Pantry needs volunteers during the week Nov 13. You will PACK/DISTRIBUTE the items at their location (1896 K Ave. #200, Plano). Sign-up here. (2) – CUMC needs volunteers at the church to GREET our neighbors receiving the meals. We expect over 175 families who received vouchers from the Assistance Center of Collin County. Sign-up here. We appreciate your support and with your generosity, our neighbors will enjoy a nice holiday meal.
