The Sports + Rec Center is currently open Monday-Friday from 6:00am-4:00pm with reduced capacity.
The Sports & Rec Center offers a wide range of adult sports and fitness classes along with multiple weight rooms featuring cardio and weight machines as well as free weight training equipment. We also offer a full-size basketball court and indoor track.

Due to COVID-19, we have suspended our usual 12-week class sessions and we will only be selling yoga/fitness class credits under our FLEX option.
ALL YOGA CLASS PURCHASES MUST CURRENTLY BE DONE IN PERSON WITH CASH OR CHECK!

COVID-19 CLASS CHANGES - PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING
FITNESS/YOGA CLASS MODIFICATIONS
- Individuals participating in a class are required to follow all state social distance and sanitary guidelines at all times
- We will have a condensed fitness/yoga class schedule upon re-opening with plans to slowly add more classes into the rotation
- Chair Yoga classes and FREE CLASSES will remain suspended for the foreseeable future
- All classes will take place in the downstairs basketball gym
- Basketball sessions will NOT be allowed during class times so the only people in the gym will be class members
- The SRC will NOT provide any mats, blocks, bolsters, bands, balls, and all other equipment/accessories/props
- Individuals will be required to bring their own mat/props/equipment
- All classes will be 1 hour in length
- All individuals will be required to leave the facility immediately at the conclusion of their class
FITNESS/YOGA CLASS CREDITS
- All fitness/yoga class credits remaining from previous sessions will be honored for current classes
- We are NOT currently selling class credits for specific classes
- If you need to purchase fitness/yoga class credits you will need to purchase them from our flex option where you can purchase class credits in 5, 10, or 25 class increments.

YOGA CLASSES
Yoga
Yoga is designed to relieve stress, improve balance, strength, flexibility, and boost the immune system. The Sports & Rec Center offers Hatha Yoga, control of the body and mind. Each session focuses on learning basic yoga poses and progressing toward stringing postures together. Our Yoga program offers beginner, mixed levels, and intermediate level classes to meet your needs.

Personal Training
PERSONAL TRAINING requires a membership to the Christ United Sports & Rec Center
Elyse is an ACE certified personal trainer who enjoys working with people of all ages.
She is currently offering an INTRO SPECIAL OF 3 SESSIONS FOR $100.
Her non-intro training packages are 10 sessions for $450.00 (payable in advance) or individual sessions for $50 each. Accepted forms of payment are Cash/Check/Venmo/Zelle. Training sessions are 60 minutes. Appointments available Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (based on availability).

Golf League
The Sports & Rec Center hosts a Spring and Fall golf league every year. League play is on Tuesday evenings at Ridgeview Ranch Golf Course in Plano. The Golf League offers a great time for the beginner and/or frequent player. Both men and women are encouraged to play. Players are put into flights and prizes are awarded in each flight.
