Our nursery provides care for children from newborn to Kindergarten on Sunday mornings for each worship hour. During the 9:45 AM service, children two and up will participate in Sunday School. We offer a welcoming, nurturing, and safe place for your child. We want your child to feel welcome and loved while learning God’s grace. We hope you and your child enjoy your time at Christ United. SUNDAY SCHOOL | 2 YEARS – 5TH GRADE | 9:45 – 10:45 AM
We offer engaging, relevant Sunday School programming for children from 2 years to 5th grade every Sunday morning. Your children will learn the foundation of biblical knowledge they will build upon as they grow and mature into their spirituality.
Sunday School| 4th + 5th Grade | 9:45 AM | Sports + Rec Center
Rise Up will be a Sunday School tailored just for 4th + 5th graders. This will give them space to be the big kids they are and the time to get to know each other before they join the youth in later years! But most of all – to have fun with their church family!

First Time?
Welcome! We are so excited to have you join us. Stop by the Jeep located at the South Entrance of the main building – our team would love to walk you through the check-in process, escort your child to their classroom, and answer any questions you may have!
First Time Guest Check-In
If your child is joining us for the first time, we will have you fill out a pink registration form with all the required information. When you return the following week, you can check in your child at the computer stations behind the red jeep using the last four digits of your registered phone number. You will receive three name badges – place one sticker on your child’s back, place one on the sheet in front of your child’s classroom, and keep the third sticker with you. You will need to show this sticker to the teacher at pick-up time.
Check-in
Before proceeding to your child’s classroom, please check in at one of the computer kiosks located on the first floor of the Children’s Wing. You will receive three stickers – give one to your child to wear, place one on the classroom check-in sheet and indicate where you will be while your child is at Sunday school, keep the third sticker with you to show to the teacher at pick-up time.
Our Sunday School Team
On Sunday mornings, both paid staff and volunteers care for your children. Each worker has completed a background check and received the necessary training.
Interested in volunteering for children’s Sunday school? Please fill out this form with your contact information, availability, and preferences, and we will find a place for you! Without generous volunteers, children’s ministries could not happen. We’re so grateful for you!
Emergency Notifications
We will only text/call parents when necessary. Please keep your cell phone with you and on vibrate. If you are contacted, please come to your child’s room quickly. In the event of fire or evacuation, children will be escorted to the southeast corner of the parking lot.
