Studies
Between the Lines: Mark
Join Rev. Chris Dowd for his new Bible Study on the books of Mark. This class will be Sundays from 4 – 5 PM in Room N255 A-D.
Tuesday Night Men’s Bible Study
Through various studies, this group seeks to deepen men’s faith through reading, discussing, and understanding scripture and to build spiritual bonds among members/visitors at Christ United. We will resume our study on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM in N156B with a study on the book of James.
Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study
Join Rev. Raegan Gilliland for a book study on Freeing Jesus by Diana Butler Bass. In Freeing Jesus, Bass challenges the idea that Jesus can only be understood in static, one-dimensional ways and asks us to instead consider a life where Jesus grows with us and helps us through life’s challenges in several capacities: as Friend, Teacher, Savior, Lord, Way, and Presence. Freeing Jesus is an invitation to leave the religious wars behind and rediscover Jesus in all his many manifestations, to experience Jesus beyond the narrow confines we have built around him. It renews our hope in faith and worship at a time when we need it most.
Monday Afternoon Women’s Bible Study
Join Rita Ward on Monday afternoon from 1 – 3 PM for a women’s bible study in room N154.
Pathways to Insight
Our monthly “Pathways to Insight” forums provide information and discussion on various topics. These forums are open to all members/visitors, and registration is not required. Join us on Mar 18 at 7 PM in room N255 as we discuss a new topic.
